Dented Garage Door PanelWe all know that accidents can happen at any time, it happens quite often in the Garage Door Repair field. One of our most recent customers had someone run into their garage door. This caused the bottom section to bow as well as left a dent on the front of the door. The homeowner didn’t want to have to replace the entire garage door so we were able to track down the exact section needed for replacement. We were also able to take care of a few minor issues with the garage door to ensure smooth operation for years to come.

Is it cheaper to replace a panel vs replacing the entire door?

In most cases panel replacement will be the cheaper option, however if multiple panels have damage it may be worth the extra money to just replace it entirely. Also one other thing to consider is how old the door is. If your door is older the paint has likely faded, when the new section is installed it will likely not patch since the paint finish will be new. This can however be fixed by re-painting the entire garage door. Every scenario is different which is why we always offer all of our customers free estimates. This allows us to give you options on repair and replacement so you can make the best choice for your home.
